Idk about cognition, but adhd became way worse, I am getting dropped from work and uni

>have engineering brain
>constantly obsessing over mechanical principles and designs
>vehicular autism
>incapable of acheiving any of these things i obsess over
help me
when i do hrt is this gonna go away?
its exremely frustrating i want it to stop

That sucks. Sorry user. Are you on meds?

>AAs make you smarter
Hmm

this site doesn't work in my browser but i don't believe hrt has any affect on cognition. i took spiro for over a year and then monotherapy for about a year and a half, then i stopped cold turkey and sat at trough hormonal levels for about a month, then took clomid and had far higher T than i'd ever had in my whole life pre-trans. throughout all those medical changes, i never "felt" any different. my appearance and the way my body worked changed, but mentally it was all the same. i don't believe trannies when they describe mental changes. i think most of them placebo'd themselves into it, and the remainder either did something wrong or are just outright lying

>i didn't experience anything so nobody else must have either
Ok retard. Sorry you were born mentally disabled.

human bodies are just computers that respond to input by a set of rules. put the same hormone into two bodies and they'll respond the same way. if i sound like i'm generalizing, it's because my experiences are generalizeable.
but go ahead and tell me all about your "mental changes" and how hrt made you dumb just like a real girl teehee! isn't it funny how every time you see a tranny describe the "mental affects" of hrt it's always just misogynistic stereotypes?

i make more typos now but i have an easier time concentrating on work. i don't think the negative effects are hormonal, they're most likely stress-related. 2 mg sublingual E + 50 mg bica.

>put the same hormone into two bodies and they'll respond the same way.
Lmfao

I live in shithole where doctors know only about adhd in kids and prescribe cognitive therapy.
I've tried illegally bought concerta, but it doesnt help. Sure, it makes me more confident, talkative and just happier, but also hyperactive and even worse at focusing

Yeah I experienced mental effects and my regimen was fine. So that's wrong. It's kind of sad you think your one experience is representative of the whole world.

in every way that matters, yes
placebo. but don't feel bad about it, it happens to lots of people

you’re right, but you’ll make a lot of people here mad by saying it
funny how this board thinks they’re above the AGPs on Reddit but repeat the same (if not many times even worse) honscience about HRT

>t. seething samefag

The study I was in found that HRT improved cognitive function.
I know of other studies that found small effects.

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6235900/

Only one way to find out. I'd say there's some chance it could potentially help a bit, but there's no way to know until you try it.

Yeah, if someone disagrees with you they’re a samefag
kys dumbass

>i don't believe trannies when they describe mental changes.
Based on this statement, it may simply be the case you were already so dumb ahead of time that you were too dumb to recognize any change in such a thing. A certain threshold of intelligence is required to even realize things about one's own intelligence, including improvements or declines.

>you’re right, but you’ll make a lot of people here mad by saying it
>funny how this board thinks they’re above the AGPs on Reddit but repeat the same (if not many times even worse) honscience about HRT
And you people are even worse. Placebo is certainly something to think about and worry about but you're committing the inverse offense to a much greater extreme.

Don't taunt her, user. It'll just convince her that we're all sexists. In any case the actual results right now are mostly positive, with some negatives.

No.

>AAs improve your self-opinion
Hmm

>Lack of AAs decreases your self-opinion
Hmm
