I've always done my best to be a tolerant, live-and-let-live type. I believe everyone has the right to practise whatever religion they want and not face discrimination for it. Having lived as a trans woman for 7 years, my views on this have changed massively and now I have a disdain for religious people that mirrors the contempt I have received from them. Almost every time I have received harassment in public it has been from people who invoke religion in their abuse. Worst of all are Jewish people who in my experience are the most frequently transphobic and who most frequently use their religion to subjugate trans people (and the rest of LGBT+) and then cry oppression when talked back to. Rachel Riley claiming that the trans rights movement was anti-semitic was one recent event that pushed me to this point but the rabbi of my local town protesting pride and describing himself as gender critical has done it for me. I feel like I instinctually loathe these people now and on one hand I feel like that makes me a bad person for internalising the same prejudice they have but on the other hand they're so disgusting to me it feels right.

I think a lot of progressives make the mistake of thinking that it's intersectional or liberal to be "tolerant of religion" (in some abstract sense) when in reality religions are the antithesis to tolerance. They enforce their dogma through law and politics on everyone, non-religious included. I think you can oppose the racism targeted at religious groups (usually using protest of their religion as a proxy) without giving their backwards religious views a free pass. The whole "it's not racist to criticise islam because it's a religion not a race" has been wielded so much by racists that it has defused the liberal capacity to criticse criticise islam for how misogynistic and homophobic it is.
Generally I've found that people who are ethnically jewish but atheist/non-religious to be some of the most tolerant people. Conversely, practising jews are the least tolerant
i agree with most of your sentiments but i ended up going from staunchly athiest my whole life to finding my own goddess and faith to worship and believe in almost 15 years ago now and it has been immeasurably good for my life, i am such a better person for having my spiritual beliefs and new blessings from my goddess find their way to me almost every day

it is unfortunate that people's faiths and salvations are just used to further oppression of the weakest and most vulnerable people in society that have the fewest defenders

If they don't practise the religious component and ethnicity isn't real then the conclusion is that these people are not essentially jewish so I don't see why that means they would pose a threat to me. If anything it makes me less afraid of them
