Be me

>be me
>started transitioning about 10 months ago
>before transition I used to be the ‘leader’ of my friendship group
>my male friends would follow me and gave me a lot of respect
>when I began my transition the girls in our group were really quick to accept me as ‘one of the girls’, which was really sweet
>the boys took a little longer but eventually it became pretty normal for them to see me as just another girl in the group
>something still felt off and they still sort of treated me like a dude though, even if they respected my name/pronouns
>a couple of weeks ago we all got really drunk and I showed the boys in the group my boobs (stupid of me, I know, but I was drunk)
>ever since theirs been no question that I’m not a girl
>all the respect I used to enjoy as a guy and as the ‘leader’ is gone, and even the quiet more meek members of the group will say stupid stuff like ‘woman moment’ whenever I make a mistake
>they always make fun of my driving (even though they used to say I was a good driver when I was a dude)
>whenever we’re out together as a group they’ll ask if I’m okay carrying stuff, hold doors for me, offer to pay for stuff

In general, it feels good that they literally don’t see me as a dude anymore, but also it’s really been annoying and frustrating to go from being looked up to, to being infantilised and treated like a baby. Has anyone else experienced this? Part of me feels really dumb, like I’ve thrown away privileges I didn’t even know I had.

Women aren't leaders. What did you think was going to happen?

I thought I’d at least retain the treatment I got because I thought it was about who I was a person, not just because I was a man.

It just wouldn't feel right for a cis male to follow a tranny as like the leader of the group. I've never heard of that happening. Social order is pretty rigid, and people won't deviate from it on their own unless it's forced upon them.

No I guess you’re right, I’m just complaining really, I don’t expect any material change to occur now and I’m kind of happy with my new position in the group, it’s just strange

post tits

>>a couple of weeks ago we all got really drunk and I showed the boys in the group my boobs
Show them here too

>become a girl
>OMG WHY ARE PEOPLE TREATING ME LIKE A GIRL
Of course they aren't going to treat you like a dude anymore, what the fuck did you expect.

Yes just enjoy it. Let them protect and treat you gently and follow them instead.
Once you read fem all you will get is fem treatment and damn is it good.
Soon one of your friends will start making moves on you too, maybe two will even.
That's always the best part imo.

I know! As I said to the other user, I think it’s just something I didn’t imagine would be *such* a big change. Obviously I’m happy that I’m a girl now, but it was just a shock to realise how differently people treat you, even close friends.

No, stop being gross
I’d like to think the dudes in my group would have a bit more respect than to try hitting on me, but who knows lol. I’ve already had some of the guys I used to know in high school hit on me without them realising they used to know me as a dude. That was quite funny!

sounds like your guy friends are just misogynists. yeah, it is weird that they aren't treating you based on who you are but based on your gender. its not like tits get in the way of your driving or anything. you should put them in their place. they're just dumb boys and they should know that they are beneath you, the group leader. show them your girlboss side, anonette.

They're just bantering with her

It's not about disrespect it's just what men are supposed to do. Fucking your friends or taking one for a bf isn't such a bad way to either.
You always would rather have a man interested that not, but i bet it will happen eventually it always does, and before that let me just wish you luck, that's it's one of your more handsome friends.

Some people are literally high on feminism. Sad when i see trannies stuck in that lane, out of any woman they should know better than anyone how much horseshit is involved there.

I'm not saying they are evil but treating people like they are less capable just bc they are women is clearly misogynistic and OP should definitely take the reins and put those rowdy boys in their place. they need to be disciplined.

i wasnt an incel before I transitioned, so I have cis women friends and know that they have to deal with difficult shit that is different than what men deal with. That's why I'm a feminist. You can be a feminist and think that a large portion of men are treated unfairly, too, you know? And do you know what won't help those men? Anti-feminism. It's patriarchal behaviors and ideals that oppress less masc and/or successful men, too.

casual sexism, it gets more and more annoying and tiring to deal with the farther along transition you are
most men have no real respect for women and see them as lesser, which is how they’re treating you now
this is why I prefer friendships with ppl who aren’t cis dudes

Neither was I, i was swimming in dick from a young age.
But it doesn't change the nature of feminism.
A male lead in front of society is and has been always the healthier option.
Feminists are borderline hysterical lol

>A male lead in front of society is and has been always the healthier option.
sometimes I forget how retarded some people on this site can be
holy shit dude, touch grass

might as well say transitioning is unnatural. who cares about that dumb shit, dude? telling OP she can't drive well just bc she has boobs now is irrational and not befitting of "leaders". You don't know anything about feminism and you obviously have no life experience. There's more to feminism than autists ranting online about male vs. female. A bunch of states in the US have been able to ban or restrict abortion recently, so feminism as a political movement is obviously still necessary to secure bodily autonomy.

Just means you were the default leader, but don't have any leadership skills, so either embrace it, or work on yourself.

I’m sorry to hear this anonette but it’s also quite cute and funny
