REMINDER: IF YOU CANNOT GIVE TECHNICAL ADVICE, please at least say if someone voice passes or not to you, it does a lot to keep the gen alive and active

Post clips of your voice training progress, discuss voice stuff, and give feedback to others. Together, we can end the voicehon epidemic.

Benchmark (to be taken in vocaroo form): “The beige hue on the waters of the loch impressed all, including the French queen, before she heard that symphony again, just as young Arthur wanted.”

The benchmark is an English phonetic pangram, containing allophones. That makes it one of the best ways to measure how your voice is developing over time.

voca.ro/16OhRhT9ITC4
Also dont listen to the haters chaseranon we love you!

wtf im a transbian

NVM I take it back...

Also going to post the little phrase OP said to read: voca.ro/1gnA9mKjQIIj

too late. *kisses you* you are cute

Aw thank you nona, is my voice ok though or do you have any like criticisms or suggestions?

definitely sounds feminine, but the articulation sounds a bit weird imo

What's articulation?

>voca.ro/16OhRhT9ITC4
resonance seems good to me! voice just seems a little weird and maybe forced?

Thanks, I'll have to try a voice clip when im not just talking to myself I think I sound less awkward then but I need to work on it either way. To me it doesn't feel forced at all.

would it be better to follow singing lessons and sing for voice training or follow the voice training guides and try to talk regularly?

Oh ok! I wonder if it would sound better lower pitched?

i think i have determined that actually my voice is not this way bc of allergies but bc i never speak :/// oops
anyhow sorry for posting this again i dont have a new recording to use + i still wanna know if this rly sounds okay lol
(also God's Country rips it was so worth the wait)

i think you would pass to cis ppl, but theres something abt your voice that stands out to me + idk what it is..at times it seems like youre holding back a sneeze or a yawn but i dont actually know what to make of that. i wish i had better feedback to give im sorry

i am this user so idk how convincing my awful recording is but i would recommend this!!!!! i voice-trained using only things i learned from singing and my voice has never been clocked before :^))) also it's just fun i think and you don't even have to take lessons unless you rly want to. i mostly taught myself how to sing.
i think your pitch is fine but it might help if you feel like you're straining! i lowered the pitch of my voice a lot from how it used to sound and i think it's a lot more comfy and easy to speak than it used to be.

I had voice deepening surgery (more specifically t3 thyroplasty) on Thursday and I'm super happy about my voice now. Not supposed talk but bc it's still healing but even if it's left at what it is right now, still sounds like a massive improvement
Day 2: voca.ro/1iAkCzYDQXbj
Day 1: voca.ro/1lt8IHLNG5rw
Pre op: voca.ro/1lOKskRUnCuQ
All without using voice training techniques like increasing resonance or anything, same way as I was talking pre op. I'm hoping I stop getting misgendered over the phone now. Not really looking for a lot of advice, just wanted to share bc I was really happy about it. They had me talk during the surgery too (was done completely awake with just local anesthesia) but it didn't sound good so at first I was worried there'd be no change.

damn that difference is massive, thanks for sharing
