i love 2005-2010 snappycams with CCD sensors. they yield such vibrant colours, and have a kinda postcard or high-end film look to them. the advent of CMOS sensors took the soul out of photography and videography; colours are so bland now

film is lovely yeah. but the development process is expensive and daunting. CCD cameras are the next best thing - you only need a megapixel count of like 8 or higher with a 1/2-inch sensor. the results are beautiful.
black & white looks cool but i'm fundamentally opposed to doing it because i'm obsessed with colours

hmm I didn't know about ccd, I love 35 though, the colors are so pretty, I've got like a lifetime supply of Fujii c200 and portra 400 at this point. I'm trying to get better with ektachrome but that shits expensive and tricky

ah wow you're old school, and yes Kodak is king when it comes to film imo. i remember my mum developing photos to make prints but i've never done it myself. my hobby camera is this Kodak Z8612, it's great for street photography. this brand had the best CCD imaging sensors
it's a refurbished HP Z-Book from 2013, only cost me $200. i needed a second pc with a solid state drive instead of a hard drive. it makes running a minecraft server easier
