it's literally impossible for rural populations to organize in any meaningful way. there only power is to withhold agricultural power, but doing that requires insane collaboration since by definition rural power is gonna be super distributed. if a norcal farmers are fucked by like policy that makes sense for la and san francisco, they don't have any ability to resist that domination because there's no reason for ranchers in texas to show any solidarity with them. so what are they supposed to do?
our world is infinitely more stratified than the founding fathers could have ever imagined, so we need to do something about that, and i think the only thing that makes sense is to have the only meaningful forms of governance be on the micro scale, or at least take into account urbanization. if you want any meaningful form of fuckn state's rights, that comes with making a shit ton of states
