In europe most illegal and legal migrants are muslims. So really, whats the point of supporting the importation of the most backwards, traditional, homophobic and violent group of people that has probably ever existed as an LGBT/gay person? Each time they became the majority they have held daily stonings of gay people. Even as a minority that exists within the west they are probably the most openly homophobic people I have ever encountered. Why the hell do I see so many people voting for parties such as Green Party? it's one of those many leftist parties that claim to care about gay people while similtaniously making an effort to import as much homophobes into this country as they possibly can. Why vote for such parties? There are many anti immigration parties that do not seek to remove rights from gay people.
Yesterday an iranian immigrant killed multiple gay people at pride. (Pic rel) When will you realize that by voting pro immigration parties, you are supporting your own genocide and oppression?
Because, unfortunately, most pro-immigration parties are also the only ones actively protecting and progressing LGBT rights.

I honestly believe a lot of people simply find it a lot scarier to fundamentally question their own world view than to ruin their own country, especially after they have branded the alternative views they are shielding themselves from as 'bad' and 'evil'. After all, how can you let evil convince you?
The current quantity and quality of migration is obviously disastrous for European/Western countries, but if you're on the left you simply cannot bring yourself to admit that the world contains billions of people you desperately don't want in your country. So letting those people in just has to be a good thing. Or if it's not, surely it is our own fault that we didn't manage to make it a good thing. And even if it isn't then surely we deserve it for all the bad things like [insert something from the past].
I often ask myself, what the average Western person would need to see to realize that this kind of migration is disastrous, and I can't think of anything. No matter how high the unemployment rate, no matter the negative financial impact, no matter how criminal these people are; no number could ever be high enough for them to change their mind and say: I have changed my mind and realize that this needs to stop. Because what they care about is their own world view, and they change their perception of reality around it just like Palmstroem in Christian Morgenstern's poem The Impossible Fact:

typical coalition politics, it's really the only way for things to go in a democracy. Most europeans that oppose immigration do so on traditional cultural grounds, or on religious grounds, not from the point of view of LGBT topics. But voting for these groups would not make sense, because they're the ones opposing LGBT rights directly in legislation, usually a more severe and pressing threat than the occasional terrorist attack or a hatecrime in a part of the city most people wouldn't dare go near, muslims or not. I personally blame these issues on Europe's inability to manage foreigners in their country in a safe, sane, and mutually beneficial way, which is understandable given their lack of history with large-scale immigration. The USA does not have these issues to nearly the same extent. While it's not even close to perfect, either, America at least knows how to not radicalize every refugee into a terrorist.
