Is your country lgbt friendly? Is there a country you would like to move or travel to?
Best countries to be as lgbt
had zero issues in japan a few years back so idk what that pic is about
Same shit as "Japan is racist" probably
Brasil should be a D at best. It has legislative protections but socially, unless you are wealthy you are gonna end killed by monkeys.
Clearly Brazil is better than Argentina for lgbt issues, or any other country in South America.
isnt brazil the tranny murder capital of the americas?
T. Person who has never lived in shithole brazil.
Shouldnt taiwan be higher? Ismt the president or something a tranny?
The thing with Japan is that how racist and lgbtphobic they might be, they're incredibly polite.
So they won't actually give you any shit.
Brazil and South Africa on the other hand are horrid shitholes that only score high because their laws have pro-lgbt legislature, even if most people would treat you like absolute shit there.
yeah. in japan u will never be beat up, but will get stares and have a hard time getting a job if ur out of the closet
>omg heckin le canada so based and safe and gay and ddude weed lmao
we're not any safer than america once you leave the big cities
you can tell a westoid made this chart
probably a vague definition of safe
mixing together not being attacked and special legal protection and access to healthcare and shit like that
>legal protection and access to healthcare
Why would a chart about travel care about issues facing residents?
At least half of this map is unnecessary, for instance I don't think Syria or Myanmar are very safe for cis people either
>we're not any safer than america once you leave the big cities
That's because there's effectively nothing outside the big cities.
Why the fuck is China rated so poorly? LMFAOO. Here's a map that isn't complete dogshit.
Fake data, trust me bro/sis
I live in Brazil, I was born a blessed place, I'm a patriot, don't tell me that Brazil is bad, as it allows the transition of gender for teenagers and has gay marriage, with the possibility of adoption.
Being a MTF Chinese mainlander who despises the PRC, I have to admit that there's next to nothing bad about being LGBT in the PRC either. I had a lot of friends who were LGBT too and, at least in Guangdong, it's fully accepted in public and even the elderly have nothing against public demonstrations of homosexual love or gender non-conformity. The government will also not bother you as long as you don't accuse them of being bad faith leaders (but you are allowed to criticize them in a "communist way"; for example: saying that they don't care for you gets you in trouble, but saying that they care for you but could not predict that their support would be insufficient to ease your suffering is allowed)
Except rednecks on par with the deep south.
>US
>2
That seems low.
>Portugal higher than Spain
wait what
A better analysis would break it down by state, that's probably just the average across states.
talking about how the PRC is progressive when you only ever lived in Guangdong is like talking about how the US is harmonious, rich and high trust society when you've never stepped out of Maine
Some of these countries (Iran, Spain, Pakistan) are probably better for trans people than for gay people. In some cases may even be better for lesbians than gay men (some countries have the former legal but the latter illegal). It's hard to fit all of these nuances into a single chart.
>saying that they care for you but could not predict that their support would be insufficient to ease your suffering is allowed
So mealy-mouthed. Are people not irritated by this?
Why is Spain so pro trans?
