If gender is a social construct, and on spectrum, whereas sex is biological and binary(if you exclude exceptions like intersex which is just nature fucking up), then why do trans people with GENDER dysphoria change their SEX too instead of just breaking out of GENDER stereotypes? I'm genuinely confused. Are you struggling against gender or sex??? Do you hate gender stereotypes(social constructs)or your biological sex(your body)???

There are two types of mtfs, and they're very different.
Hsts: genuinely want to be women, and not have a penis. They want physical intimacy with men, for the same reasons women do.

Agp- only want to be women because it's sexually arousing to them. They don't want intimacy with a man, but perform sex with men in order to arouse their need for agp stimuli. Agp rarely get srs, and keep their male genitals.

Most people internalize the idea that you have to look a certain way to be either man or woman, "women are supposed to have wide hips, men are supposed to have broad shoulders", even though we should know better than to conflate gender with the anatomical. You can't properly break out of gender without changing sexual characteristics. Take beards for example, which are a secondary sexual characteristic for males, it's damn near impossible to be seen as a woman while sporting a beard. Hormones alter a lot of subtle secondary sexual characteristics.
Essentially gender and sex are instrinsically tied and this shouldn't be a surprise because sex forms the foundation for gender.

gender dysphoria is social and biological, with them being linked by how you are treated by society.
say someone tried to just socially transition but not amend their apprearencebthe slightest, they wouldn't be treated as their gender but first and foremost as a freak.

biology sets social expectations. if those clash constantly it's harder for everyone involved and alienates people needlessly. changing your sex is for the best really.
