Ted Kaczynski makes a really good point on activism, specifically the left though now I think it can be applied to both sides, that basically people feel powerless and have no outlet for their aggression in modern life so they turn to activism to unleash that pent up anger. That's why so many people turn up to protests hoping that it turns violent and that's why so many protesters are loud and obnoxious and belligerent.
Being a tranny is also attractive to people who've failed in life because it provides a cover and recontextualizes their failings, for example Chris Chan.
The other big factor is that the left loves freaks and pathetic people, they can pat themselves on the back when they defend them and feel better than them in comparison. The right uses them in the same way except as strawmen basically that they can easily punchdown on.
Everything has advanced too fast in too short a time for humans to adjust and it is causing widespread mental illness. That combined with careful social engineering have insured that all political thought is definitvely deep mental illness. If you see someone holding a communist flag, or nazi flag, you treat them the same way you would any other schizophrenic.

Kaczinsky himself was too schizo to fathom why the sense of humor is diagnostic, and that's what makes him unreliable at mapping these things out--especially when it comes to the difference between mundane politicking and violent extremism. And like all extremists he's one of those fools of false equivalence, who lack the sense of proportion.

Nothing has an deeprooted context so you can do with it what you will. All human identity is at its core unreasonable, pretty much all of human conciousness is a sort of insanity, some made up thing that is a byproduct of brains capable of higher thought. Debates about biology aside, a trans woman is no more pretending to be a woman than a cis woman is.
My personal belief, as in the ones that work for me and are based only in my preferences, is that because we don't know anything substantial about life the best way to live is honest to yourself, and to hone that, that way whatever consequences come are a consequence of your self.
A man can do what he wills but he cannot will what he wills, if being trans is legitimate or illegitimate, a result of social engineering, or mental illness, or micro plastics, or whatever, as long as it is legitimate to you is all that matters.
Kaczinksy was wrong about most things, but his critique of modern life and modern politics were 100% spot on.
