Armor only protects what it covers. Hit the gaps and you absolutely can kill them. Also lv 3 can be defeated with an ar 15 and like 1 mag of green tips at most provided you dint hit unarmored places too. Lv 4 you need 308 en masse to defeat, provided you dont hit gaps again.
There are many fatal shots outside the armor the most heavily armored awat teams use. Like maybe 50% of the body if covered.

Learn how to make hard points in your dwellings. Ar500 steel isnt prohibitively expensive and if you set it up so wall studs absorb transfered force youre set for as long as they dont back an armored vehicle through your house.
