Will HRT cure chronic dandruff?
Will HRT cure chronic dandruff?
ew
no but over the counter shampoo will....
It did a Lil bit, wash your hair in cold water user, also make sure you drink enough water.
got the same problem. weird part it goes away and suddenly repairs.
a little bit but it won't eradicate it, plenty of cis women have it too. testosterone aggravates it but its absence won't cure it
Wrong. Anti-Dandruff shampoo like Head & Shoulders is designed to make you buy it over and over again. The best way to cure dandruff in the long run is rincing your scalp with soap+vinegar (some say oil, I'd say you should test it for yourself).
use shampoo
>something you're supposed to use daily that is finite is designed to make you buy it over and over again
no shit, retard
you cant cure dandruff you will need to use it every day like any other shampoo you buy, its treatment not a cure
but ciswomen can have elevated androgens
Just wash your hair once every week or every two weeks.
you dont actually use shampoo daily do you user?
Stop reading soccer mom antivax blogs. A lot of dandruff is caused by excessive activity by malasseziaceae fungi which live on all human skin but usually only in small amounts. When they get out of control depending on what part of the body, you get things like athletes foot and dandruff. Head & shoulders controls the side effects but does not control the actual fungus, you can use a ketoconazole shampoo (expensive) for a few weeks every day and then once or twice a week for maintenance and it is much better.
Ketoconazole also reverses hair loss in men so if you're a tranner with malding fears, it's a double whammy of goodness. If you can afford this I highly recommend picking some up. If you can't, feel free to waste money on folk remedies like rice and vinegar, lol.
>over the counter
>head and shoulders
Are you retarded or just ESL who doesn't understand what over the counter means?
You use something like Nizoral, which is an over the counter shampoo to treat seborrheic dermatitis from a minor fungal colonization. (the cause of dandruff)
It will somewhat. I used to have pretty bad dandruff and I occasionally can see some flakes if I’ve scratched at my scalp, but usually it’s pretty clean up there. I’ve always used nizoral but HRT did much more work for me.
>ad-hominem
Didn't read
it might not even be dandruff since those look to be pretty large flakes. you might have eczema which can manifest on the scalp. maybe go to a doc if something like nizoral doesn't help.
>antivax
Really, user? Do you also used the terms "redpilled" or "schizo" unironically?
>science managed to find vaccinations and antitodes to the most vicious viral infections and blights that have haunted humanity since caveman times
>can't find a cure for what roughly 50% of the world population is afflicted by
Head and shoulders ruins my hair and makes dandruff worse but Nizoral isnt super drying and basically cured my dandruff. I apply it once every week or two.
You look like you have a lot thicker flakes than I did though. I had dust snow dandruff.. so ymmv
Hormones and diet can play a big role in it I found personally.
It's simple to fix
>Buy a spray bottle
>Fill it with salty water
>Spray it on your head 2-3 times a day and rub it in
It got rid of my dandruff but I'm sure it's a ymmv thing
How the fuck is salt supposed to help with a skin condition
