runs way faster than windows on my laptop, low-bs, low spyware and bload, comfy
> Which distro do you run
manjaro, I used to use mint. I like simple OSs that I can use without having to get to crazy
> Which Desktop Environment or Windows manager do you use
gnome I think? whichever it is it's comfy
> Which setups are male or female brain

How do I learn how to use this shit I can’t install shit

just watch some youtube vids and start with a more basic OS that installs easy

>> Why do you like Linux

I quit after almost every distro implemented PulseAudio and systemd.
No point in using linux if it's just gonna be as slow as windows 11.

I can install os. It’s just hard to download a program everything goes through the terminal. I’ll keep trying though

I use arch bc I've used it since the beginning of high school and I know how to do all the stuff I nees I'm too smooth brained to keep up with the "new features" of proprietary OSs. The gnu utils never change. Also I mostly only use computer for work and I don't much at home so its good to have something familiar at home. I tried to use windows a few years ago and couldn't figure out the driver bs and it would freeze and crash and I would have to restart it all the time very frustrating.

For my WM I use i3 at work and emacs at home. used to use exwm at work too but got annoyed with some stuff and switched back to i3.

I would prob use a macbook if I had to but I feel like I would have to learn how to use a lot of new stuff and it would be a pain, tried to change settings for a friend on their mac before and couldn't figure it out. Plus I think you have to buy a lot of software on macos and I don't care enough about stupid computer stuff to pay for software

>> What do you think of Linux users
they are ok, i switched from linux to mac but i like unix systems anyways
>> What is your opinion on Linux
it's fun but not so robust. you can fuck things up if you lets say upgrade your distro incorrectly.
>> Do you think that Linux users are male or female brain
it's nerd tier thought on both spectrums

Typing words into terminal is much easier than mind melting series of picture menus imo. Just have to get used to it, I think a lot of it is fear of messing stuff up

>why do you like linux
unixlike systems have always been so much nicer to my dumb brain than anything else.
>which distro do you run
debian and osx on my laptop (macbookpro, thinkpad w520), osx and IRIX at home. (macpro and sgi octane)
>Which Desktop Environment or Windows manager do you use
xfce4
>Which setups are male or female brain
i dont know... also!! debian isnt for lesbians!! i have a bf who i love very much.

>How to you say GNU
ganoo

> What do you think of Linux users
I think they're try hards
> What is your opinion on Linux
It's dumb and a waste of time, it only serves to make using the computer harder
>Do you think that Linux users are male or female brain
I think it's one of the most malebrained things their are, ive never once heard of a cis woman using Linux only ultra computer nerds who are all male.

I saw a cis woman using Linux once, a long time ago

How do I find a tranner gf to cuddle who also teaches me programming?

> Why do you like Linux
Because it has things other OS don't. Specialised academic tools, software development, it's all easier to get running on Linux. On Windows it often means you have to install a very Linux-esque environment. Also SoaS fucking sucks for operating systems, looking at Windows
> Which distro do you run
Manjaro, since it has easy access to the Autist-run AUR for lazy compiling, minus having the marinated unwashed cock stench emerging from your body after every step you take out of your mom's basement
> Which Desktop Environment or Windows manager do you use
Cinnamon, looks basic. Decent.
> Which setups are male or female brain
It's just autism brain really. Don't act like even the most adjusted CompSci people are not even slightly autistic. Ubuntu is least autistic. Gentoo is one of the most. Men are more often diagnosed with autism right?

Use it because Haskell on Windows is a nightmare
Alpine
>malebrained or fembrained
No female Linux users anyway

alternatives not good.
gentoo
bspwm
don't know / care

nerds
bad
don't care

doesn't matter

shit bby you can just install arch and pacman will mess your stuff up whether or not you want it to

Pacman has literally never fucked my shit up in my life unless you count dependency hell or missing gpg keys. And that's impressive because all the other package managers I've used have fucked me multiple times

linux has 0 relevance outside of servers
