Pretty good. Lots of people call it biased, both it’s really not that much, at least if you stay out of the political news.
Solid journalism about apolitical stuff, cool documentaries and definitely great to have public programming with no ads. Wish pbs was as big as it.

It’s like the bbc but only one channel which is mainly children’s programming without 24 hr news that no one watches. Also gets cut in funding every single year

PBS is a public broadcasting nonprofit to hear gets ~15% of its funding from the government. The rest comes from donations and contributions. Has a lot of educational programing for kids and a news segment, PBS news hour.
This contrasts with BBC since a majority of its funding comes from licensing fees that are mandatory.

Because we can only afford one channel. In reality of course we could have amazing public broadcasting but that’s communism and we need more military and police funding

At least when I was a kid I think PBS does well for having educational and entertaining shows for children. I’ve never seen anything they broadcast for adults since nobody watches TV anymore.

I always thought their shows were for like younger kids because they were always educational so I didn’t watch it.
The bbc is so cool because it makes like real shows for everyone to watch.
