>Is melbs that queer? I think its sydneysider projection
There are more queers in Sydney but Melbourne is perhaps more queer-accepting.

I've seen way more MtFs in sydney than I have in melbourne weirdly

Do they just happen to pass better? I’ve never been to SYD but I’ve heard there’s a lot more loud and proud trannies there who don’t mind not passing.

^_^

I missed you too swiftie

I like the soft bokeh what lens and settings?

I bought a Sony a7 markiii five months ago, I need to use it more.
Imo my old crummy Canon rebel ti is easier to use and I can get shots to look right with minimal tinkering. I need to get over the learning curve.

It’s a Fujifilm XT-4
Lens is the 16-55mm f2.8, i think it was at f2.8 there, probably at 55m. Crop sensor so 85mm equiv.

I wanted to get a prime, but new 56mm is incoming and I needed flexibility for my budget. Probably the 23mm f1.4 and the new 56mm f1.2 will be my next purchases

Been enjoying it a lot. I did photog before but stopped cause I shared the cam with my sis and she shot more (shes a journalist).

Sony i stayed away because I used before and its so much a pain in the ass to use.
I was going to go Canon but its all full frame now and expensive af lenses. Fuji just made sense and I love the dials on it, makes using it so easy.

Ps: The camera my sis has is a T4i ahaha

Its a cute camera, put a mid range prime on it and its great for general photography, pretty weak in low light though

I'm going to Melbourne in the july-december months.

Can you guys give me a quick rundown on the queers there and what to expect / where to go / what to keep in mind?

Idk I'll have to ask my straight friend who keeps groping my ass when drunk and suggests we should go to a gay bar as a joke to get away from dumb whores.

What could he mean by this?

Yeah but now I have my Fuji so I’m happy

Fuji does seem SOVLFUL. I'm going to have to figure out how to best use the Sony, I've seen amazing results posted with it on /p/. Video was another reason I went for it, I want to document stuff, video and stills.

Yeah. The X-T4 can do video as well btw.
Once you figure out Sony it is amazing, also full frame so you can do a lot with bokeh and low light performance.

Are you cute? I've been thinking of getting into dating again.

I am reasonably attractive, but I'm looking more for homo friends, the "scene", and hookups at most. I'm not available for romantic endeavors since I have a long-term partner.
(Hookups are consensual with partner tho)

I'll be studying at a centre/eastern melb uni for the time and I'm from a middle European country.

Oh right, that's very much not what I'm into.

You should be able to find plenty of people who can introduce you to things at uni though, I'd start there. There are plenty of gay clubs in Smith Street, just north of Gertrude Street which are probably fun if you're into that.

I'd hook you up with my friend but he has a meltdown if you suggest he's gay or bi (he's trad now)

Lads it's nearly 12am go to bed.

Btw what is some slang i should know when going to Australia.
What's a bender
