Well guess what? The inevitable happened. Our fucking useless police force — who already have the easiest lives in the fucking world — were granted access to the contact tracing information as part of an investigation. And then all the fucking sheep go “who could’ve possibly seen this coming!1!1?1?!1?” Yeah, anyone with a fucking brain. Then the goal posts shifted and the new promise was that the information would only be used for the most serious of investigations. lmao. Typical glowie bullshit. This is the real crux of the matter though: the laws don’t matter, and even if we pretended they did, the glowies can just change it, justify it, do whatever.

I went through the entire two year mandatory contact tracing period without using any of the glowie tracking shit. It was an excellent time to pick up cooking again, I ate at home every single day (and still do since I really love my own food), and just avoided malls and shit. Didn’t take long to adapt to my new life, and in a way it did make me see and appreciate different kinds of things. But I’m in the hyper minority it seems and everyone else is more than happy to bend over backwards to all these lame “terrorist” and “public health” and “protect the children” excuses.
