Her original statement wasn't that bad. Her doubling down and later following posts were concerning. Even if they had been straight terf nonsense I still don't think it would justify rape/death threats. That said. Her later actions such as her support of several anti trans groups. Her book portraying a serial killer who crossdresses to commit murder. And her deleting a tweet talking about her fondness of Stephen King after he tweeted that trans women were women. This behavior all seems rather bleak. While I don't think she wants trans people dead. She is some level of transphobic. However. I do wonder how much of that came from the harassment she received pushing her into transpobes arms? Not that that justifies it mind you. But I can't help but wonder.

They feel particularly betrayed by Rowling because she is a dispenser of fantasy, and fantasy is oxygen to the tranny mind. Having a fantasy writer hit them with such plain, unadulterated truth is like having a fireman burn down your house.
