if the first documented transgender was in the 1960's then shouldn't we have a ton of people who've been trans for 50+ years by now? it feels like all the old trans people i see transitioned very recently, not when they were young.

literally just google "older transpeople" but also a ton of people will dump pics now that you've asked

we had a cold war and some other shit

oldtrannys probably died of aids

What does a 20 year old tranny and a 60 year old tranny have in common?

They both started transitioning less than 5 years ago.

It was very rare for anyone to transition before 2000, and I'm glad more people are doing it now.

Look at to survive on this shore. It’s a project that collected a bunch of old trannies, took photos and interviewed them. It’s pretty interesting actually

trannies dont have a very long lifespan

lol I wanted to start transitioning in 2004 when I was 18 but I was gatekept by shitty Christian doctors (this was eastern Kentucky) and I got zero support in LGBT spaces (the gays kept telling me I was just a "self-hating gay man in denial") and the whole experience was so traumatic that I just repressed and became hikki for like another 10 years. Punished HSTS

damn testosterone really is powerful. Most of the transmen look pretty masc

We do, also the first documented transsexual was in the 1920s

At the end of the day all it takes is a beard

First documented was way earlier than that

First documented transsexual are sumerian and akkadian texts dated 2500 BC
>those were just transvestite eunuch priests
Same thing, deal with it

in 1991 i told the doc at the medical pre-school screening that im a girl and not a boy and then my parents divorced and my mother slapped me when i asked why my father isnt coming back

In 2001 I started diy hrt, then my mom found out and kicked me out; I was fifteen.
Worth it.

>2004 when I was 18
Wtf, you're 50 years old

Based retard ruining thier parents life before his 10th birthday

Damn I wasn’t born yet
Respect oldfag

That sucks, sevenleaf. At least the late transition didn't stop you from being ultra cute

Shut up I just turned 36, I don't need you to remind me >;t

I ruined my parents' life as soon as I was conceived, and my mom returned the favor by smoking weed while she was pregnant with me, get on my level scrubs

xhfhfhfhfhfhfh THANK YOU >:333

You are 18 years old and you never heard of places like New York or San Francisco? Why didn't you buy a bus ticket and go there and try to get some help for yourself?

Thanks.
Things were really different back then.
I think it’s absolutely wonderful that people are so much more capable of transitioning at that age or even younger now, sometimes even with parental support. There’s also so much more info about DIY out there now than there was back then.
