I don't think that glamor in trans culture is a good thing. It was fine in the 80s but I think its pretty bad now. It leads to a mistaken identities and that our identities should be tied to capitalistic structures. Am I a woman because I can afford surgeries? The whole instragram movement is literally ruined the self confidence of many trannies because most cannot operate in a superficial lime light of glam. It doesn't provide a deeper meaning because its just a metric of how well you can exploit a market but not an exploration of onself.
Glam culture kind of fucked me up to be honest because I spent to much time and my value as a person on materialistic things and looking like people like Gigi. There was some good. I'm a research assistant psychologist and I have noticed in samples of individuals who have gender dysphoria, there is a subset of individuals who are extremely introverted and phobic about having their penis touched or even touching it themselves when relieve themselves. I'm interested in this subgroup because I don't believe it's been adequately examined.
