shopping for underwear makes me feel dysphoric, I've been putting it off for weeks.
are these tucking underwears actually comfortable or worth it? for my own selfish purposes: any transfems with recommendations or things to avoid as far as undergarments in general?
You need underwear with a wider crotch area if you want to be able to tuck without slippage or free the bulge, even.

if you want to tuck in them, avoid cotton/natural fabrics in general. they're slippery and stretchy, which aren't good qualities for tucking garments. a wider crotch is *vital* for tucking, since not having enough room will mean that your junk gets squished out the sides, and usually ends up slipping out, which isn't nice. also using tape helps give you a bit more freedom, but it almost entirely defeats the purpose of using tucking gaffs in the first place.
if you just want to use them day to day untucked, you need something with more room for your crotch. It won't matter how small your package is, womens underwear isn't designed with your anatomy in mind. My personal recommendation is hipsters, bikinis and boyshorts. Best coverage out of them all and you can still find some cute ones at stores. If you feel like you can pull it off, some thongs with more front fabric can also work, but you have to sorta pull your dick to either side to avoid spillage.
For stuff i recommend avoiding, undies with a middle seam at the back, constantly irritates and rubs against the skin between your cheeks and is just generally uncomfortable. Undies with strappy/mesh/lace sides or a wide waistband, these are either just completely incompatible with having a dick, or *very* uncomfortable and abrasive. Satin/Silk fabric is too slippery to be comfortable with male junk hanging around.
Remember, store clerks aren't paid to care about what your reasons for buying clothes is (they've also seen more than enough fetishists and trannies buying women's underwear), and anyone else you see at the store you most likely won't see ever again.
yes, hipsters, hiphuggers, boyshorts, bikinis, highwaist undies. All work with male junk. they're not specifically designed for it, but there's enough room at the front to be able to reasonably fit most people's packages. just be conscious about what you buy, and try them on in a fitting booth first if possible.

highly reccomend LeoLines, kinda pricy and only come from a single supplier (although ive bought 3rd party retailers before) but works great for tucking or le bulge, make sure you get the right size by measuring
