My dad found out I had a grindr and smacked me a few times

on android devices you can go to Settings, then to Security, then scroll down to "Screen pinning" and enable it

and then it'll give you device-specific instructions on how to pin an open app

when an app is pinned, the notifications and status bar are hidden and the only way to exit the app is to press back and home at the same time, which locks the device

therefore you can hand the device to someone else and they can only access that app and can't see anything else

Now I feel a bit dumb but that does explain a lot about how people would react when id let myself get hit by people a bunch and they'd be like "you really can't just let people hit you like that" and I'd get all confused shit I'm so stupid
