Minoxidil shedding

Who has experienced it? Did you see results afterwards? I am 2 weeks in and I am shedding so much hair its giving me panic attacks, not sure if I should bail or not.

Yes prepare to shed for a while. It's old hair being replaced with new hair. Shedding can go on for up wards of 6 months. You can read all about it on hairlosstalk.com from countless people who asked same thing.

Fuck I don't know if I can tolerate that, my hair is like the number one source of dysphoria which is why I'm trying to fix it. However I have enough for pixie cuts I just cant grow it long which is why I'm doing this. If my hair keeps shedding at this rate I'll have to shave it its going to look so terrible

are you on finesteride and HRT as well? it may be worth it in the long run to wait a bit, especially if you're on HRT.

finesteride helps with hair retention/regrowth and that with minox should help if your body responds. Just push through it. Give yourself 8 months to see progress.

Question for minox users...
My brother did it a while back but told me unless you do it literally every day the hair it brings back will just fall out again... Does this apply to tranners on e blockers? Cause imma just get plugs if so

if i regrew my hairline with minoxidil and am now on hrt with good levels, if I stop minoxidil is that shit gonna fall out again and not grow back?

Try titrating down your dosage slowly, by drawing a line at the ⅔ point of your bottle, and refilling it with distilled water every time the level drops to the ⅔ line. After the sixth time you get down to 2/3, you can throw it away instead.

Closest I can do is Kamehame kill myself when the dysphoria hits too hard one day

I already do that, it works 99% of the time its the 1% thats the rough part
