Like others have said, this definitely used to be much more of a trans woman thing than a trans man thing. Younger trans women of the previous generation didn’t give a shit about their boomerhon criteria for being True Transsexuals and just wanted hormones because they knew that was really the only thing that made a difference once you realized you wanted to transition, not some invisible kernel of authenticity, so the gatekeeper boomerhons got btfo.
