I really, really don’t want to have to wear wigs every day. I think I have an already somewhat feminine facial structure, but idk if itll be enough

they have relatively inexpensive surgeries that can fix this and give you a brow lift at the same time.

And wigs are extremely annoying user, idk why people recc them so easily, it's a massive quality of life drop to have to navigate your life around a wig

true it is annoying but a quality natural hair wig is a lot better and you'll feel much more feminine than going bald unless you're the 1% of tranners that actually like being bald. Good luck!

sorry anonette harsh realities of life. At least you know up-front. I'm battling it too. Do look into those remedies they are not just hon science. Lots of things you can research online.

Not to say it’s impossible. Some people can pull off the look, but we’re at a disadvantage being trans already. Sometimes hair can make the whole difference for people teetering on how to gender you. Unless you’re already very feminine pre-HRT, I’d say wigs and/or trying to salvage your hair is probably the safest bet. There are options though. Hair is fixable for a lot of people with hormone treatment with additions of minoxidil. It’s not over till it’s over.

Unless you want to look like picrel (Which you don't) you should probably consider wigs or looking into hair transplants. The silver lining is that you won't need to constantly get your transplants re-done like a moid would since hrt will stop the DHT that causes balding.

I went mostly bald at a very young age (18~), and was too depressed to ever try to fight it, learned helplessness I guess. I'm trying out fin + minoxidal now, but I'm unsure if it'll do anything

it either works really well or it does't. Look into dermaroller or derma pen as well. DO NOT BUY EBAY JUNK. Unfortunately that shit (hair regrowth) can take up to a year before you see anything. Everyone who has seen results say that HRT and Progesterone (when you're ready for it) really helps it skyrocket.

Also the Will Powers formula includes minox and you can either have a dr write a prescription to have a lab mix it up for you, or fork over the $350/quarter for the teledoctor lab to do it if you're in a state that they support.

I know it's frustrating but have patience as the gains are too great to pass up. I have a backup wig plan if things don't work because It doesn't work 100% for everyone. It's just there for sanity.
