if you look up makeup tutorial for trans people, don't listen to the retards smearing their entire faces with color corrector and turning into oompa loompas

Learn to blend and match your skin tone, subtlety is important. Also get religious with your skincare routine

eyeliner is shitty to apply and there's no real trick behind it but training the shaky hand away

for boymode days, use vaseline to enhance your eyelashes

if you haven't had ffs yet, your orbital rims stick out, so avoid brushing your eyeshadow too far in, concentrate on making your eyes 'wider'

if you have a broad nose, highlight the ridge or the tip with a light brightener, same with cheekbones, you can get some def. there.

also, less is more, don't try to go too overboard. look into the mirror like 15 min afterwards, you might realize you look like a clown suddenly

I want to do a good routine for skincare but there is alot of conflicting information out there

What would you reccomend?

adding to the third point, you want to avoid racoon eyes

yes eyeshadow is minefield early on.

if you even want to use it, maybe just think about the goal of accentuating the apparent weight of your eyelashes at the corners, like we do with eyeliner.

I wish I'd known this years ago when youtube was at peak drag aesthetics.

Are you in the US? If so, Amazon is your friend. I would recommend a natural face. Definitely a moisturizer, like the Elf Holy Hydration. A nice dewy foundation like the Wet N Wild Photofocus Dewy or Too Faced Born This Way if you could afford it. A Mascara that can curl your lashes and some gloss could finish the look. A good powder to set the foundation is key too.

nooo i'm in terf island :( the upside is most cis women don't pass either igs haha
ty for the recommendation tho!

first you put foundation on your whole face, brush it slightly towards the ears, hair, and neck to help blend. (optional, recommended if you have bad skin)

concealer for spots that stick out like acne, beard shadow, dark circles

eye liner/shadow, just decide on a basic style to master, I started out doing only cat eyeliner. tip: you can rest your palm on your cheek area to help steady your hand when applying, just fix the foundation afterwards.

mascara or fake lashes or both - this really helps give you a feminine appearance, so try not to skip it. curl the lashes to open them more after applying

blush - helps emphasize your cute cheeks, be subtle, try light pink if you have white skin. you can also apply to nose and chin, but you might want to watch someone else do it first.

lip gloss - use a clear gloss at the very least if you don't want a color, this is pretty important for looking cute. no one likes dry ass lips :P

on lazy days I just do eye liner, mascara, and lip gloss. And from there you can try fun new stuff with eyeshadow, blush, and eyeliner!! I don''t recommend forcing yourself to do EVERY part of makeup, if you overdo it you might end up looking like a clown at first. but that's okay! most girls had to go through this phase too, usually at a younger age lol.

make sure you always apply lotion (before the makeup) and wash your face, never sleep with makeup on. use actual makeup remover and cotton pads so you don't ruin your skin, towels are rough.

woah user that's alot of tips thankyou!! i'm taking a screenshot if that's alright CAPTCHA: THX2H (even the captcha is saying thankyou)

awh that's great to hear it helps! good luck :)

also does e prevent beard shadow? i'm barely 18 and haven't got any facial hair yet, if i start taking soon would it prevent it before it happens?

yes
lucky

it just prevents you from gaining more hair, the existing hair will stay until you get electro/laser. for me I never really had beard shadow bc I never grew much hair either

buy some brushes and a nude palette
make sure your eyebrows are done, pluck from bottom
the best lip balm ive had is vaseline

E can reverse a little bit of beard growth that has just happened, or so I've heard

fucking THIS that orange concealer bullshit makes your shadows darker the 'it's just le colour theory' chicks are full of it. only applies to fuckin painting your face like drag

>curl the lashes to open them more after applying
Smh
No
Curl before mascara
Good advice otherwise

I’d recommend getting a Beauty Blender (pink sponge) I’m sure they have those in the UK. You can use it to pat your foundation in, concealer, powder any liquid products. It’s worth it.

Person you're replying to here - I just use a bit of blush to color correct, I have to be careful.
