A lot of typical rape hons could be somewhat saved by ffs and losing weight. But they don’t do that. They wear clown makeup and badly fitting clothes that come straight out of a porn movie.

Well, what portion of non-passing transgender women are actually like that?
I sort of understand where you're coming from with regard to FFS and the like but at the same time I can't help but notice a bit of a double standard. Plenty of ugly cisgender women are opposed to plastic surgery on ideological grounds but that does not take away from their humanity or their identity. With transgender women there's a sense that beauty is goodness, and if you are not beautiful then you are evil, and this seems wrong to me.

I know what you mean, but it’s just the way it is. society sees ugly trans people as lesser, and that can be fixed with surgery. So while this is a societal issue that should be addressed, that doesn’t help nonpassing trans people.

You kind of have to make a choice to either be viewed as a freak or get surgery to blend in.

Aren't you free to be better than that, though? Like, I'm imagining all of this playing out with some cisgender woman who was disfigured and came to accept that. Wouldn't it be kind of fucked up to insult her because she won't get surgery? Running into another disfigured woman, who actually had surgery but is nevertheless disfigured, how would you really tell the difference? Wouldn't it be even more terrible to bother her?

Do not get me wrong, I do not wish to deny that there's a real phenomenon where some older transitioners seem to act in a completely disgusting way, to the point where I doubt that many of them are truly trans or all there in the head. But I get the sense that normal women who just look wrong are far more numerous. They just don't really get discussed because the haters can't get anything out of doing that. Their appearance is still mocked but no one gets to know them because their behavior isn't documented. The assumption is that they're like the worst of the worst, because they're ugly, and I think that's wrong.
