Any of the places they actually do win, its because the league lacked any kind of regulation regarding hormones.

If trans women were represented proportionally according to their 0.5% prevalence in the general population,, that would mean about 1000 trans women compete in ncaa sports *every year*. Let's assume very very generously that trans women are 10 times less likely to desire to play sports than cis women. That would bring us to about 100 trans women competing every year. We hear about 1 trans female athlete every year or two. So, either trans women are woefully underrepresented in ncaa athletics by about two orders of magnitude and should be encouraged to participate in sports more ;^) or their participation in sports is almost a complete no issue.

it's the same story literally every single time. people like you bring up stories like this and expect everyone to share your impression because your underlying assumption is that trans women should never win at any athletic event and if they do they're cheating.
it may, in theory, be possible for an elite male athlete to identify as trans and optimize his hormone levels to stay within the limits while hurting his performance as little as possible, in order to completely dominate women's competitions. this has not happened yet and likely will not happen, because no elite male athlete wants to fuck with his body like this in order to dominate a less prestigious competition.

completely missing the point. even if there were literally 1 trans female athlete who ever existed, it'd be just as big of an issue and would get people talking just as much
