Now, I think there are definitely differences in the transgender population, to the extent you could probably produce a number of typologies, but I specifically don't like essentialising trans people as either "a gay person who wants to ultimately just fuck straight guys" or "a straight or bi person who fetishizes being feminine". I think anyone with gender dysphoria will tell you it's aLOT more complicated than that.

Ok so, I discovered I was trans when I was around 10 (though there were some small signs before). 3 years before puberty started. But not very early. Exactly in the middle between HSTS and AGP.
I am bi, so also kinda in the middle, technically leaning towards AGP.
And then there is the deal of actually having the fetish every so often (every couple of months, there is about a month in which I am autogynephilic).
And then in terms of looks and the way I act, I am pretty feminine. I'm still not on HRT (I just turned 18 and am in the process of getting it) and I mailfail about 5 times a week. I also act pretty femininely.
