I'm sorry but I just don't see it. In my situation, girlfriends porn, and conservatism let me rep through my teens. If I hadn't quit porn I never would have questioned. This dude seems like a local minima, I have doubts about his methods and future.

I know, it's a great advertisement against repping for the vast majority of people on here, but I think in a way it shows that it is possible depending on what you prioritize. he prioritizes living as a normal straight man and I don't begrudge him that. I do think it might not be stable though if his understanding shifted, and there's nothing wrong with that either since it seems like he married the right woman and she'd support his transition if it came to that. but I also think there's too much binary thinking about transition and some people might be happiest as some kind of GNC person rather than a classic transsexual. and I think it's best to treat transition as a choice, weighing all considerations, rather than as "the default medical treatment for dysphoria" which is a very limiting and agency-denying way of looking at it.
most people shouldn't rep though honestly. whatever personal growth you could be doing while repressing, you can also do on HRT.

Personally what I want is to be sure transition is right for me and some fucking clarity on why I want to be a woman in the first place. AGP makes me feel like a pervert when I perform things like makeup or clothes, but engaging in feminine behavior with my gf feels amazing and right, and the male sex role just feels off. I don't really see a future without transition but I still don't feel right about it.
