This oricon cart is not individual volume. Shoseki only does the individual volume not the whole series. Plus, Shoseki is for individual volume ranking not estimated sales. Shoseki estimated sales are done by calculation not by collected data.

>SPY × FAMILY: 90,211
>SPY × FAMILY: 90,973
It increased a bit over last week! Crazy.
next two weeks are part of holiday so it might not even drop at this point.
One Piece boost is ending it looks like. it keeps declining by 50k each week. JJK's losing around 5k-10k in backlog each week
Samuel Bell
40. Oni no Hanayome #01 (14,870 / 97,256)
46.) Super no Ura de Yani Suu Futari #01 (12,625 / 65,157)
How the fuck do literal who magazines serialize these kind of instant hits but wsj hasn't found anything close to this in fucking 3 years
Austin Ross
tons of times There's a series that gets its entire volumes in shoseki though.
Top 500-200 tend to be unreliable as hell which fudges the numbers
Christopher Wood
>46.) Super no Ura de Yani Suu Futari #01 (12,625 / 65,157)
won an award and people really like it
also people in japan don't only read WSJ. A lot don't like WSJ shit actually. broaden your horizons for once
Lincoln Hughes
not the point, wsj has probably 10x circulation of the magazines both these series were found in and yet they can't find instant successes like this,
Nathan Lopez
>How the fuck
>40. Oni no Hanayome #01 (14,870 / 97,256)

because the margins for a Jump series are way bigger than any other magazine. It's a huge opportunity cost to take a risk on a series that's not immediately a modern classic. Not telling you this logic makes sense, just speaking from the POV of a huge publisher.
Thomas Wright
bleach sisters are we getting axed again?!
Jayden Rogers
jump lets shit like undead unluck continue to run despite declining sales and bad toc and also hsf
Charles Thomas
Spy backlogs are stable at this range (90-100k) now. Only around 3 weeks left before the volume and anime boost. It has increased in the past with the backlogs so it’s sort of random and it might drop next week. But a trailer just released today so next Oricon week might see another increase for Spy.
Blake James
Sakamoto and Blue Box sell about as much as those two.
Zachary Kelly
KnY and JJK were not an instant success but they already showed growth before the anime boost. Keep an eye on Sakamoto.
