I put off watching this like 8 episodes ago but I still wonder how they can stretch it so much. It was already on the alleged final fights where I left,

That's how it was in the manga as well. Admittedly it's very dialogue-heavy, which doesn't translate as well to the anime, leading to these last few episodes feeling like they're dragging it out. The last two episodes should be bangers, though.

it has its slumps of QUALITY but it's quite faithful to the manga

Overall it's pretty decent though, I feel quality is mostly on shit episodes that focus on the rat or gay characters like Nova.
