Super robot anime that pays homage to 50's noir/western media, classic toku and mecha like red baron and ultraman but with a heavy futuristic art deco aesthetic set in a dystopian world shrouded in mystery. Most of the cast is likable and interesting with some having entire episodes dedicated to them.
