Maybe if you watched it while it was airing. I only watched it recently, and genuinely enjoyed it. I wasn't forcing myself either, I enjoyed just checking out the differences and trying to solve the mystery.

I watched the shows years later but you may be blinded by nostalgia. If you enjoyed it, more power to you, I am glad that you can enjoy something that I just can't, but from an objective standpoint it did not do well with the critics or the fans. It killed any chance for a third season of the show.
Then again I enjoyed S2 of TPN so my opinion is shit
