She better not die.

By following dragon quest.
Dragonlord is a thing and can be the master mind behind the dragons violent activities as he tries to maneuver the dragons into greater political power.
Or have the demon king be the one causing the dragons to attack since he is pure evil and is causing rifts between all races aka dq's zoma.

Revenge is just a symptom of having someone living rent-free in your mind, though with the condition of the you "feeling wronged" by the other person in some way. The subjective perception is what matters for revenge, not the actual facts, mind you.
Not to be confused with "getting payback" which usually refers to returning a malicious action in kind due to either a personal belief/codex, or in order to restore one's reputation, because those are based on either pre-set rules or rational circumstantial considerations and could be potentially dropped depending on known facts regardless of personal feelings.

Why not just have the two existences be at odds with each other?
You can have two villain factions that hate each other as much as they hate the protagonist.

Sure, dropping a moon onto the surface of the planet might not be the most financially sound decision, but at least it will teach those arrogant fucks not to laugh at your『Marbles』skill.

Currently reading this. Had manga adaptation, but too bad no raws since it's pretty much unpopular. The setting is japan with dungeon, but with more effort into worldbuilding, but the character fight using monster cards(with ego) dropped from dungeon instead of fighting by using their own body. Pretty enjoyable since it focus more on plot instead of autistic grinding to power up. Battle description is good enough even with MTL, and occasionally there is duel vs another character like in pokemon

Is there any way to make a character less trustworthy?

Tsundere?

Yes, make her a healslut.

Goatee.

If MC isn't THE hero, make CF the saintess.

Every time

Is my impression correct that when the protagonist is not isekai'ed, no isekai'ed side character can be trusted unless they are yandere for the MC?

Dragon Slave
yes/no?
