We need more Three Kingdom's anime to pull reaction images from.

Wei Yan got betrayed

Cao Zhen was a better commander than Sima Yi and I'm tired of pretending he wasn't

He's a legalist at prime, not fitting to be a military leader

For me it's Xu Rong

Didn't it went downhill after he passed away (or in this case timeslipped 1800 years)

Nice.

Jiang Wei thought it would be a good idea to keep invading Wei, even though he made zero gains. Zhuge at least made some.

Brilliance cannot overcome reality

Sima Yi only commanded two campaigns against Zhuge Liang and performed so poorly in the first one that standing orders were placed on him to only defend and not engage in direct battle in the second one. The real MVP of Wei's western chief commanders was Sima Yi's predecessor Cao Zhen.

At least part of Zhuge Liang's legend is probably all those Jin era historians who had to go "obviously Zhuge Liang was a superhuman military genius, that's totally why our founding Emperor didn't do so great against him."

To sickness you uneducated weigger.

Funny thing is in the novel version of the story he's actually pretty calm about the whole thing. I guess later portrayals wanted to up the drama.

In an even older version of the novel, the plan was actually to burn Wei Yan in there along with Sima Yi by having Wei Yan lead troops in as the bait that lured Sima Yi in the first place.

The story's fictitious anyways.

>make manga about kongming
>don't have kongming in it that much

In Three Kingdoms, Zhuge Liang has to be rescued from the Wu army by one of the Qiao sisters, he wasn't nearly as broken as he is in the novel. He is also more morally gray.

will there be a season 2?
