too expensive to gamble on. easier ot shit out traced isekai manga with built in audience and no animation budget. original shit requires big name attached that is instantly expensive and then all new original story, characters, designs, etc. youll need to market it since no manga or light novel to fall back on. not even ads in jump or anything with current manga chapters type of deal. just a shit load more work and risk.
