I finished watching Inuyasha a few days ago. For me, one of the best anime series I've seen. Back then as a kid you don't really understand Inuyasha. You just think it's all about defeating Naraku. But in reality it was all about the triangle relationship between Inuyasha, Kagome and Kikyo. But i have to say i liked the manga far better, i read it simultaniously to the anime. You can definitly feel the week rythm it was once aired with the drawnout flashbacks and what not. Also the bodyhorror in the manga was really great and sango ist best girl.

idk, I just thought it was a semi-comfy SoL show but yes, very disjointed with not much of an interesting overarching plot
It was definitely a nice 4-5am "getting ready for bed" show and has some nice vibes at times

I'd probably keep the good ones, there are some legitimately great episodes that are filler. There is a TON of bad ones too though. Cutting 10 hours of filler would probably be doable and make the story more consistent.

the best parts of the show are "filler", in fact I point to Inuyasha specifically to defend the concept of "filler" which is actually character development and world building.
Then again people here seem to love the absolutely atrocious band of kino arcs, so maybe I don't understand what people enjoy about this show.
