Not so much hate but I really liked him in Tartaros. In Alvarez though I wish he'd have given August time to at least hear out Brandish before brainwashing her into trying to kill him. There was almost a 0% chance he'd acquiesce but he was ready to listen out of respect for Brandish at least. His intentions were good but all it did was enrage him.

Both. I reread recently and was amazed at how much I enjoyed the early arcs, but as time went on it got worse and worse until I just couldn't put up with it.
Thought it was rated exactly as it should be. Its not a masterpiece but it does a fine job being simply entertaining.

Underrated in the SoL and character aspects. People only focus on the fighting aspect but FT does actually have some solid character arcs and the guild interactions are legit good.

Not one in particular but the guild in-fighting is my favorite running gag, although Lucy first meeting Erza is very funny, especially in the anime. Erza killing Levy is another good one.

Ichiya. Despite being introduced as a one-note gag he really showed his worth and actual maturity when it mattered.
