I'm sorry, this just... is underwhelming, he just did his villain thing of explaining his whole plan for no reason instead of just attacking Asta from the start, I still can't get over how the author is doing the same fucking two souls inside the same body twist again.

I read this out of curiosity after people spammed saying the reveal was "THA BEST PLOT TWIST EVAAA!11!!" but it's painfully generic as always, I'm assuming the people reading this are teens who just found their first battle shonen and are blown away, which isn't a bad thing I guess

I feel like the whole twist was badly set up, sorry anons but it's not small panels with vague hints and dialogue that makes a good setup, Julius as the Wizard King was gone from most of the story to the point I stopped caring about him, actually I don't even understand why bring him back if he wasn't going to do anything, would have been a better reveal if he just was faking his death the whole time and his death was meant to be a motivation for them in the upcoming arcs.

So all the devils are conquered and under Lucius’ control.

At least I don't mind this infuriatingly bas like MHA. I wish Asta's supposed "death" at least lasts for a few chapters so that we get to see a little despair.
