Fixing Hinata

We had a good thread for Sakura a few days ago, lets have one for Hinata too. How would you improve Hinata to make her more relevant outside of shipping? How would you buff her powers? Keep it civil please.

Just have her get her power (the twin head things) earlier, if in less refined form. Maybe have her use one of them in the Chuunin forest. As for interacting with Naruto, just have a few more scenes where she doesn't turn red and die. Hell have a scene where Jiraiya is on a rooftop and sees her watching him and thinks "Well well well, it seems my pupil has a secret admirer."

Honestly Hinata needs the least improvement to be useful or tolerable, which was why the Sakura threads were so productive in terms of spitbaloing ideas.

I agree, she's really not that bad just bland due to underexposure. I would have swapped out Sai for her in the search for Sasuke since she was on the tracking team. Get her more moments with Naruto like that and develop more friendship with Sakura.

In general, she just needs more screentime. The most straightforward, but radical solution would be to put her in Naruto's team from the get-go instead of Sakura. But if you want to preserve Sakura's role (for some reason) then all you can do is have Hinata tag along with Nard more often.

That could be interesting but Sakura does have a lot of fans regardless of how controversial she is so I don't think this would be a popular move. That is why I said swapping her out with Sai would be good, it is an effective compromise.

I wanted to say the same but about Hyuga. Give Hyuga as a clan more focus and actually develop Hinata's relationship with her father and siblings. Develop byakugan as well.

Sakura would've just been another side girl if she and Hinata swapped places. Literally just Pink Ino.

I agree with others that she just needed more exposure/storylines. She, of all people, should have been included on missions where they needed to look for people. It was supposed to be her one specialty.

Her whole goal was to get better like Naruto so she would have been working with Naruto and been supportive of him. In fact, he would have done the same for her. She would have been way more likable than Sakura. Hell, having her and Sakura working together would have been great, too.

What a waste.

I dunno. Hinata and Sakura just seem incredibly bland to me. Ino at least looks hot, even if she is a Sakura clone.
Naruto should have either gotten Temari or Karin.
