Its only Demonbane's final form that is anything special. This means that Demonbane is very vulnerable to Altair, who can reset people to earlier versions of themselves in their story. All that power Demonbane has means nothing if it can be taken away.

If you want to be ESPECIALLY mean, Altair spawns a second copy of super-god Demonbane, and THEN resets the real Demonbane to its earliest, weakest form and then has the powered-up copy kill the depowered original. Just to really rub salt in the wound.

Some people who claimed to actually read all of the VN implied that Demonbane is probably more powerful than you thought even though he keeps sperging out that EGD doesn't exist

Causality Reverse it. Demonbane tries to blow up the planet and instead takes the damage itself, same way that Altair just stood there and let Alicetaria kill herself trying to hurt Altair.

Thats because thats basically what she is. Altair is a dirty fucking cheater. She explicitly doesn't follow the same rules as the rest of the setting, and she can change the rules that everyone else has to follow at any time.

Fighting against Altair is like trying to fight against the author of the fanfiction you are trapped in. There is nothing you have that she cannot take away, nothing you can do that she cannot undo. She is powerman and she has all of the powers. If you are from a story, you are basically her bitch because she can strip you of all of your plot armor and super modes and plot-mandated I-Win buttons in moments.

Really, the only thing that makes her at all vulnerable is the fact that she is a person. She should, in theory, have to be very careful around speedsters or people with time stop powers, because while Holopsicon is functionally omnipotent she still activates it in real time. But if she is given even a couple seconds to use her power, you are fucked.

You could create the most powerful character by having them become "everything" at the end. All that exists is their part. This would make any other character just part of them.

Then that part dies too and everything ceases to exist, the end. The character can't be beaten. Not that this would even happen because "corruption" is just again part of the character. All that exists is part of it.

just because a character is the summation of all things in its setting that doesn't mean said character is all fictional settings combined

Jusy because a character is said to be omnipotent in their setting doesn't mean they're omnipotent in another setting. This logic is just dumb and applies to any skill.

D.Y.N. Freaks ultimately confirmed that Demonbane is subject to the omnipotent. The only caveat is that even with omnipotence you can't remove Demonbane from existence.
But Azathoth does not need to be able to remove Demonbane from existence, when it can mitigate Demonbane as a threat by other means. By reversing the narrative and making itself the hero and Demonbane the villain, for example. Azathoth can even create other Elder God level existences on a whim.

At the end of the day, she is still a fictional character from a fictional show called "Re-creators". Frieza could show up in Re-Creators real universe and he could just blow up the planet in order to remove all of her support and fanbase
