It exists in modern anime purely because the trope is so ingrained in the medium. It was prevalent in older classic anime like Dragon Ball because of the time period it existed in. Sexism was and still is rife in Japan, and shit like that was seen as particularly hilarious back in the 70s and 80s. It still is today, they just have to be more careful about it because of "le cancel culture".

We need more crazy high-level feats to match the power creep. Nothing characters do has felt impressive since the Saiyan arc. "SUCH POWER" and then a mountain gets destroyed or something. Give us some crazy shit like the stuff that shows up in Multiverse. Someone so powerful they generate their own gravitational field. A monster like Broly whose power literally never stops rising. More dimension-shattering shit like what happened with Gogeta and Broly.

The insanely high power creep needs to be represented better.

Goku's first transformation into a Super Saiyan 3 is one of the most effective showings of raw power in the series. The reactions when everyone could sense him even on the Kaioshin planet let you know how absurdly powerful it was. Then the effect was ruined by Ultimate SHIThan, who was supposedly even stronger but jobbed twice as hard.
