I watched Birdie Wing. In all honesty though I usually don't watch sports anime because they're all the same thematically speaking, and they usually waste huge amounts of time dealing with the traumas of characters I don't give a shit about, episode after episode. The sports shows I have enjoyed in the past have usually only focused on a small number of characters instead of an entire team.
