It's either shonen or moe, good anime & manga have already been discussed to death and there's only so few out there.

All of that is pretty shit but the only thread that actually deserves to be nuked and banned off the board is DBS

CG isn't a battle shounen for fuck's sake and it's an original anime, not some shit that runs for decades.
One of the problems with shounen shit is that there are more and more of them since the old shit doesn't end but new shit is made. So now we do not just have the "big three" but 15 endless battle shounen series on top of that and all of them are mainstream because people that are usually not into anime watch them. It's as we allowed Any Forums shit on Any Forums. The moment we do this 90% of Any Forums will just be tv related because manga fans are a fucking small niche compared to them.

I partly agree. DBS fags are pure shitposters, they don't even make any sensible posts within their own threads. But what I hate about HxH fags is that they act like a fucking cult because it's their babby's first anime that thematises some "serious" topics so you will always have at least one avid HxH apostle in every damn thread that tells you HxH was better than fucking Shakespeare and that you are a troll or retarded if you dropped it.
At least I have never seen a DBS fag unironically praising their series as smart and deep.

Containment boards have never worked. Any Forums was supposed to contain all politics-related garbage, except it had the opposite effect and now every board is Any Forums. Making a shounenshit board will only open up the website as a whole to more battle shounen enjoyers.

The problem isn't "seeing" threads you don't like. The problem is threads flooding the catalog and preventing other threads from being made or lasting.
You literally cannot discuss 95% of all manga because nobody reads shit unless it's shounen or popular generic ecchi pandering romance shit so the threads are slower and land on page 10 soon because 25 other threads about DBS, some HxH sketches on twitter and that white haired fag of JJK have to be made on top of all the flooding meme shit threads you cannot even generate a dialogue for like ">Imagine", ">How do we fix ____?" or ">What does ________'s _______ smell like?".
