re-watching this, and i havent watched since i was wee a lad in 2006. But goddamn this show has bad pacing and a lot of the jokes just ruin the tension.

It's a 7-7.5/10 series with great art, designs, appealing characters, interesting concepts, world and a decent story. Flaws such as too many characters which results in some not getting time to shine, pacing issues and the rushed ending hinder it from being something that would have been a 10/10. I love Bleach.

Kino in the first part, cringe at and all the way past the Soul Society. It went from a creepy, scary for myself as a kid at the time it aired, urban paranormal fantasy, to just Dragon Ball with swords. Stupid over the top fuck off powers that, despite being flashy, you cant actually gather any info about how an attack damages an enemy or protagonist, constant tournament style team splits, constant talking, power up after power up thats just "i hit harder now".
Bleach is shit the same way Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Naruto are.
