clearly its made by someone with a bias in favor of bleach/ichigo, HOWEVER that doesnt dismiss the points he makes and the analysis of ichigo's character development and arc(s)
i dont think ichigo is as good a character as this guy argues he is, but he is certainly a complex, and dynamic character, one i'd say is much more dynamic than naruto or luffy, both being characters that do not move through any kind of character arc, and in the case of naruto, ends in more or less the same place he began

if you want to say he's "barely even a character" you're gonna need more than just an assertion to back that up

it doesnt matter how autistic and obstinate the guy is, he makes decent points in some videos
he totally overlooks issues with all the characters he reviews, he makes a lot of stretches in his analyses, but that doesnt take away from the valid points he makes
some of his videos are worth it, he actually does a really good analysis of Ulquiorra, but even in his best videos his bias is obvious

ichigo isnt a masterpiece of character writing, but i think he's a well written one nonetheless
he goes through a few character arcs alongside the story arcs, and is one of the few shonen characters i can think of off the top of my head that goes through a negative change character arc

i think the big issue with ichigo is that things are shown WAY more than they are told
what's ichigo's motivation? Well, we are SHOWN WHAT it is in his very first appearence, defending the weak, we are SHOWN WHY it is his motivation when he has his flashback to his mother defending him when he was weak, we are SHOWN his conflict between his desire to defend his friends clashing with his lack of a killer instinct or will to fight

and i can go on about the changes and the inner conflict and turmoil (which is often depicted literally as his fights with ichigo White)

The only refutation to the idea that ichigo is complex or dynamic is the fact that his goal never changes, only his situations that serve to test his resolve and determination. He's just like any other shonen protagonist with how conflicts revolve around his resistance to the antagonist attempt to break his will. His only arc is maintaining his desire to protect against enemies who try to prove its meaninglessness, it's typical static character writing.
