Why is there so much damn exposition?
Why is there so much damn exposition?
Asked myself the same and unironically dropped it because of that shit during the second volume
I'm on ep 21 right now and its just so unrealistic.
Characters over sharing their backstory and abilities mid fight to enemies & the fight choreography is painful to watch sometimes. Suspension of disbelief can only go so far
>it's explained that explaining your abilities to the opponent makes them stronger
>wHy Is THere so MuCh DaMN exPoSiTioN?????
you are genuinely retarded. Just wait for season 3 where the'll be a 5 minute explanation on the rules of a pachinko based on a fictional manga series. True kino.
When is this explained? Its also a dhit excuse for bad writing
Episode 9 of the anime. Chapter 20 of the manga. When we see Nanami fight for the first time.
>when is this explained
literally like 5 different times, not to mention that every time they do it the author is nice enough to have the character think "now that I explained my ability it will be stronger" or something along those lines so that retards like you understand. yet you still somehow didn't catch it a single time. honestly you should just kys you brainlet mongoloid.
>Suspension of disbelief
In a story about evil spirits and girls that dream of rape
>>it's explained that explaining your abilities to the opponent makes them stronger
Is that true lmao?
>fight choreography is painful to watch sometimes
You expected good choreography from Mappa?
Hard to keep my interest when you're being spoonfed constantly. Once again that is an awful excuse. no wonder animation sucks when bootlicking weebs like you gobble it up
I just think humans shouldn't be leaping 5 stories & spinning whichever way they want mid air
I'll have to take your word for it because I can't stomach going back to listen to that dialog
Yeah, as someone who likes the manga for it's fights, I hated that.
it is said, time and again, that vows make cursed energy stronger. And lwhen the concept is first explained to the audience we literally see Nanakin explaining his abilities to Mahito as an example.
Of all the powers to copy from Hunter x Hunter and write a whole manga based around it, why would he choose “the bomb guy has to explain his powers to make them work”
Name a shonen that has LESS exposition, I can certainly think of several with much more exposition.
Plothole x asspull rip off
it's such an awful concept for a battle shonen to have, i cant even wrap my head around that people genuinely see no issue with that
I stopped watching animals for a exile but I can't remember Naruto, dbz, or bleach having this much exposition. You don't need to treat your audience like drooling mongols. If the audience cares about your story they will THINK or research (take dark souls for instance). The ones that need to be spoonfed either don't care or aren't the ones you want praising it
>animals
Anime*
>exile
Awhile*
Naruto has wayyyyy more exposition.
DBZ has less exposition but they still interrupt the fights to talk.
