I mean I bought the damn books so I'm going to read them regardless but it does help knowing that it does supposedly get better. DESU I had the same reaction to the first little bit of part 4 until Rohan got introduced and shit started really hitting the fan and became my favorite part so far.

when i read for the first time i also did not care for abbachio or fugo, my focus was on Giorno and Bruno. these characters grew on me on a second read

Since part 4 up to 6 everything happened in one boring shitty place. In JOJO 1, 2, and 3 they were traveling all around. At least in 7 they moved too, but JOJOLION is so MEH

Man in the Mirror is so and so, but The Grateful Dead is one of the best arcs, so keep going. The problem with VA is that it's like a roller coaster, some arcs are very interesting and exciting, but they're followed by boring ones. I ended up liking both Little Feet and Man in the Mirror on a reread, but yeah, I understand if you can't get into it, I have a friend who felt the same. TGD is the absolute best though aniki...;_;

If you say "both", then it wasn't that bad. Sure, it had few boring arcs like every Part, but it was pretty dynamic. Way more dynamic than Part 4 and Part 6.

Because when I first binged the series, I found 5 and 6 very difficult to get through because of burnout. It wasn't till I stopped and came back that I really enjoyed them

Yes. Over the past month or so I have been binging the manga for each part and then binging the anime for each part. Can usually get through a part in the manga in a few days and the anime in a day.
