For an isekai with a video game skill system it's pretty good. Though a big part of that is that it is the adventures of a murderhobo catgirl and her sword dad, which is a winning combination.

If they go by the usual 4 chapters per ln volume pace they should get to the end of the arc the manga is on (fran playing bodyguard to the royal brats). This is also being adapted by the guys who did tsukimichi and that one adapted enough to catch up with the manga too.

The real difference is that without Fran the sword wouldn't care to seek out slavers, and would just ignore them letting the authorities deal with the illegal slave trade. Fran on the other hand will hunt down slavers when given the opportunity. Also the sword is willing to put up with the legal indentured servitude style slavery, and crime slaves, as where Fran hates those but accepts that she can't really do anything about them.

Honestly worked pretty well for an uncanny valley spider monster. The human drama was unsalvageable and didn't deserve better animation.
