I hope dungeon meshi won't cuck them from doing own anime for the rest of my life that manga never ends afaik but it's popular so they will probably animate multiple seasons.

Only thing that I liked from them was inferno cop.

>Promare
>Not TTGL
Other than that I'm really curious on how they will work with having a plot already written for them with Dungeon Meshi

11 years of style over substance.

Dungeon Meshi will probably be Miyajima's directorial debut, so it shouldn't matter for Imaishi & co who will continue to do their thing.

KlK was the only Imaishi show I genuinely liked. Luluco was fun but since it was a short it was never serious and the mix between fun and tragic or serious parts is what made classic Imaishi series so fucking awesome.
Gridman is great too but different team and generally very different from Trigger's usual stuff, but I am glad they found another very own style. If the Imaishi series fail there are at least these anime to have some hopes for.
TTGL is technically not Trigger, just the same people working on it.
I hope Cyberpunk is good because they need to move on from the mediocre TTGL clones they are currently stuck with.

Dungeon Meshi is a monthly manga, the mangaka took many breaks, and it's about to end. They can literally finish the whole thing in 2 13 episode seasons.

But wouldn't the studio still be busy with it? Afaik Trigger isn't a very huge studio, so I assume the animators and co-directors will still be occupied with this.

>that manga never ends afaik
What are you on about? We're in the latter half of the final arc and just entered the main boss battle.

Well wow didn't know. Felt to me like it was being published for ages.

Why do you retards keep saying this? It doesn't matter that TTGL was made by many of the now Trigger staff and that they have the license, it was made while under the Gainax label. Why the fuck would they list it as a Trigger anime? They're trying to celebrate their current company.

It was, but because it was monthly and the mangaka took regular breaks it's gonna end up as a 13 volume manga.

Dungeon Meshi should be a relatively straightforward manga adaption, it's not even scribbles tier like something like Mob or Osama Ranking so they don't have to go crazy creative with it.

Cyberpunk is the series where working with someone's else story should get interesting, both because Imaishi has an extremely distinctive style and because Trigger is still adapting the story into anime script.

>Best anime in no particular order:
>>Interno Cop
ironic weeb plz

My respect then because it was damn successful and wasn't dragged for the sake of money. I don't like Yaiba much but I never expected that series to end so soon either. Would be cool if others followed suit, there are too many series I loved to death that turned to shit for dragging on for too long and losing their identity.

Trigger is one of the few studios that will get consistent cash for doing whatever they want, so I wouldn't worry. The committee for DM definitely doesn't pay as much as Netflix so if Trigger really wanted to they could decline further seasons and continue suckling from the teat of international streaming

Everything after the first LWA OVA was a disappointment

Inferno Cop is an hilarious comedy with great jokes, especially by anime standards. Sorry if you thought it was just a meme because of le cardboard animation.

>Trigger is one of the few studios that will get consistent cash for doing whatever they want
But all they ever do is remake Dead Leaves over and over again

Anime has been dead for 11 years.
